Web Design is becoming increasing popular in the business community. Virtually all businesses must have a web presence. Therefore, it is very important that students are taught the professional way to develop web sites. Business Web Technologies is designed to teach students the principles of professional web design in theory and in practice. The course culminates with the student taking an industry standard exam sponsored by the Worldwide Organization of Webmasters certifying them as a Web Design Apprentice or Associate.

WOW Certified Web Designer Apprentice (CWDSA-apprentice or associate): Web Designer Apprentices are familiar with the visual arts and are learning to create images and designs that capture and keep visitors' interest. They present aesthetically enticing designs that meet the requirements and preferences of their audience.Students receiving the Associate certification passed the exam with a 70 or higher.
